About
I did my PhD in computer vision at Universitatea “Ștefan cel Mare” din Suceava, teaching machines to make sense of images. These days my research focuses on how people interact with computers (HCI). Sometimes that interest comes from my own life: as a quadriplegic, I run into interfaces built for a narrower range of bodies than mine, and those everyday problems become the questions I study — narrow ones, maybe, but concrete.
Alongside the research I build things — small tools and experiments, usually born from wanting a problem solved rather than a product shipped. I like the part where something that didn’t exist starts working.
